Nutmeg Acres is a home-based wildlife rehabilitation facility and not open to the public. For the safety of both our wild patients and our team, please never arrive at our location without first speaking to a volunteer.

Hours of Operation

Our general operating hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and by appointment only. If you’ve found an animal in need, please reach out by phone or text before taking any action—we’re here to help guide you through the next steps. As a reminder, our focus species include Virginia Opossums, mustelids (weasel, mink, fisher and river otters), along with some reptiles and amphibians.
